My Head is going to explode

I have to vent my frustration. I’m at work, torn between two jobs - one I like to do, and the other I don’t. Sadly, I desperately need to work on the project I’m not fond of, but every time I get ready to do something, there’s something I have to ask about, and the guy with the answers is nowhere to be found. Mind you, it’s not just ONE GUY, it’s usually a collection of random people off in random places in this ridiculously large campus where I work, so you can’t just stroll over to someone’s desk and expect them to be there. Furthermore, sending an email is all well and good, except when you need an answer NOW, email isn’t the best option.

So, here I am sitting in limbo, waiting on answers, for something that needs to be done today. Of course the fact that I don’t exactly enjoy doing this particular task doesn’t make this waiting any better. I’m so bored and frustrated I can’t decide if I want to die or cry or go destroy something.

And oh, the thing I LIKE doing? Oh my boss thinks that a nuisance and a hindrance to the things I detest. God, someone kill me now.
